Document Scanning

There are many ‘scanning bureaus’ who provide bulk document scanning services to corporate organisations. This document capture service normally covers the scanning of contemporary materials such as company invoices, client documentation and medical records. This is not what we do.

Rather, with our specialist archive scanning service we work with our clients to capture archived documents, often of historical significance, which can include manuscripts, diaries, ledgers, leases, royal charters, maps and charts.

Max’s high quality scanning and photographic capture processes will not only record all the information on the document, but will ensure capture of the full colour tonal range and every detail, such as paper grain and any imperfections on the original.

From small diaries to very large maps, we photograph documents using very high-resolution digital cameras in a carefully controlled and colour-calibrated workflow.

We put the care and preservation of the document at the heart of the digitisation process.
